Infiltrator Design
Infiltrators are chambers underground, hold and release water for consistent absorption back into the ground.
Infiltrators can be used for both storm water and waste water/septic purposes, still contain piping.
Infiltrators allow for water retention and absorption below the ground surface. Used for rooftop and pavement runoff and storm drainage, infiltrators can save space on a tight site.
This infiltrator system, above, is typical in that it contain piping the full length of the infiltrators, with holes drilled at specified spacing. This systems is for a sanitary absorption field (leach field) and is installed on 3 feet of washed sand.
